Virtual attendant for optical stores: eye exams and frames without stopping the counter

The AI schedules the eye exam on the calendar, records interest in the frames and sends it to the store's WhatsApp. It does not read prescriptions or recommend a prescription strength.

Glasses next to a calendar with a scheduled eye exam and a phone.

At the optical store, whoever is at the counter adjusts a frame and answers the phone with the other hand. The call is almost always about an eye exam, "are my glasses ready?" or the price of a lens.

Exam and pickup

With the calendar set up, the AI schedules the exam in the available slot and confirms on WhatsApp, with a reminder the day before. Glasses pickup can also be a time slot, if you create that service. The store receives the notice with the name and phone number.

"Are my glasses ready?" the AI only answers if that information is in the text or if the team is the one who confirms. The standard path is to record the name and send it to the store.

What it does not do

It does not read prescription strengths, does not compare prescriptions and does not say which lens the person needs. The price of a multifocal lens, which depends on the prescription and the frame, stays with the store. The AI provides the range or the model only when you have written that in the script. For everything else, it takes a note and passes it on.

The care is the same as at the pharmacy: provide what is written, and do not advise. The number costs R$ 399 per month, with 500 minutes. The scheduling itself is in scheduling by phone.
