With the API (Bot with AI plan), your system sends WhatsApp messages through Combot — billing, notices, access codes — and, if you want, receives customer messages and answers the phone.
- 1
Generate the key
In Integrations → API Key, the key starts with cb_live_. Note what it's for in Key note.
- 2
Paste it into your system
It is the only credential. There is no webhook secret.
- 3
Only sending messages?
Done, that's all. Do not configure a webhook.
- 4
Receiving messages or answering the phone?
Your system configures itself with the key (the Ora App does this when saving). You don't need to paste an address into Combot.
More than one system? One key for each
In Integrations → Other keys, create a key for each system (e.g., the provider's ERP and the store) and check the WhatsApp accounts and phone numbers for each one. Messages and calls from those numbers go only to the system for that key; anything not checked in any key stays with the main key. Each number belongs to only one key.
